Seventh Seal  Second Trumpet Question...

Q. The second trumpet sends ‘a mountain burning with fire’ into the oceans. Sea life and shipping are drastically affected. More to the point seafood will be unavailable.  The previous trumpet saw all grains destroyed (grass and herbs), the next trumpet will see all fresh water become undrinkable.
In short food, the sustainer of physical life is almost non-existent.
Is God:
a)  Punishing mankind ?
b)  Causing mankind to fight even harder for what is left ?
c)  Constructively guiding mankind’s thinking in a new direction ?

Who are those that do have the seal of God in their foreheads ?
Clue: This may seem a difficult question but who consistently in the bible are the ‘elect’ that have unfulfilled promises due to them. Remember the Church has already been resurrected.
